The Paul I Brown and Julia Brown Buildings are the Twin Office Buildings that will be on the Studio Lot near the Main Gate in the Silver Lining and next to our Alpha Stage. These two office towers will be mirror images of each other. The two towers will house the main operations of the entire Studio.
Departments in the Twin Office Buildings
The multiple motion picture and television departments will operate out of the buildings. So will ItsSilverTV, the Family Enrichment (HR) Department, the Public Relations Department, the IT and Data Management Departments, plus all the marketing, distribution and legal departments. Most of the Studio Lot focused departments, such as Studio Maintenance, Groundskeeping, Stage Rentals, Plant Engineering and others, will operate in other areas throughout the Studio Lot. There will also be a commissary on the ground floor were all Studio Family Members, Casts and Crews on the Studio Lot can come in for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Top Floor of the Paul I Brown Building, which will be next to the Alpha Stage will be the executive floor. The 17 Executives will have offices on this floor as well as their multiple Executive Assistants. There will also be large and small conference rooms and huddle rooms for use by the executives for meetings, planning, and story sessions. The large leader team meeting will be held in these conference rooms as well as other locations on and off the Studio Lot.
Between the towers will be a plaza with grassy areas, trees & bushes, seating areas and water features. The Plaza will be a great place to sit and eat a meal or do something creative like write a screenplay.
The Twin Towers’ Names
The Twin Towers will be named after Paul and Julia Brown. They were the first investors in the Studio (allowing the Studio to use their house as a business address and park the Studio trailers) and have been and are our consistent supporters. They saw the Studio for what is was and what it will be and wanted to make sure that happened. The Studio wouldn’t be where it is today if it wasn’t for them. So, to say “Thank you” for their support, the two towers will be named for them, when they are built.
The Browns have been avid Ambassadors for the Studio and will be lifelong Silver Lining Insider Ambassadors as long as the Studio is in operation.
